About Comenius project

We can explain game as an activity which  is communication, sharing and interaction  system among children. Also game is the mirror of communities’ tradition, culture and history. In the past when our ancestors were children, there weren’t technological games and toys. For that reason they used to create their games and  toys. They used to play together, share ideas, help each other and learn to live in a community. With their games they consisted a culture, a tradition. But today technology develops very fast and most of people in the world follow the changes. Almost everybody has computer at their home. People spend most of their time in front of the computer. Especially in a big cities there aren’t enough playground for children so they have to stay at home. They get used to play computer game alone. While they are playing computer, they don’t share anything, there is no communication, there is no interaction, they focus on only computer.
They are abstracted from real world. They turn into selfish person.

At first we should teach to be a team in a game, to be a member of community, to help each other, to share feelings and to give importance to the others’ idea. Also a person must be tolerant to the others so that they can spend  good time together. Within the project we are going to play our ancestors’ local, traditional, cultural street game with hand made equipment on the theme of Peace, Sharing, Benefactor or Creativity. We can recognize each other with some traditional game, we can understand each other while playing. We can learn to live in a peace because we can succeed it during the game. We have time to play happily in peace time but in war time we haven’t got time to play. We are going to prepare booklets which include the our ancestors’ childhood game with toys. We are going to search  the result of playing alone at home and playing together in the street.
With all activities in our project we would like to try to learn more about living together in peace and learn more about each other.

Concrete objectives of the partnership:

  • Evaluating the past as part of the family and personal history.
  • The comprehensive development of the fact that the fun and games: bring a joyful mood, improve health, create the best conditions for active recreation, develop physical fitness.
  • Discovering games of the older generation, so that children learn something new from my grandparents, improve ties between the two generations, formed the right posture and good contact between the youngest and oldest generations.
  • Increase students' motivation to learn foreign languages.
  • Promotion of national identity and culture of individual countries participating in the project.
  • To support and develop the use of information technology and communication
  • To promote the project, and all activities carried out under the project.
